Solar power generation is the process of converting the sun’s energy into electricity or heat. Solar power plants use solar panels or other systems to capture the sun’s radiation and convert it into usable energy.
There are two types of solar power plants:

1) Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation: On Grid Solar System : In this type solar power generation plants are very useful for heavy power consumption plants or place. This system are totally dependent on Grid availablity which is supplied by local DISCOM, If power is available power generation will active and vise versa.
Off Grid Solar System: In this type of power plants mostly used in low power consumption because this type of system have battery bank which are more expensive. But this system are totally independent from grid or local DISCOM company. Benifits of this kind systems that u can run load without grid support so this are very useful for remote areas and those places where power problems are heavy.
Hybrid Solar System : This type of system is combination of above two systems with some changes.
2) Solar Thermal Power Generation System : Solar thermal power projects are used in MW scale industries
